Present Continuous and Present Simple to talk about the future

Ostatnio było co nie co o Future Simple i BE GOING TO, czyli takim angielskim zamierzam. Pamiętajcie, że Future Simple używamy do przewidywania lub prognozowania przyszłości (szczegóły w poście o Future Simple), podczas gdy BE GOING TO ma dwa zastosowania: kiedy podjęliśmy decyzję, że coś zrobimy w przyszłości oraz kiedy widzimy, że coś zaraz nastąpi (szczegóły w poście o GOING TO). Dzisiaj będzie o dwóch czasach teraźniejszych- Present Continuous i Present Simple, których szalenie często używamy do mówienia o przyszłości.

Znaczenie kiedy używamy do opisywania przyszłości
Personal future arrangements (kiedy mówimy o czymś, co mamy zaaranżowane lub zorganizowane na przyszłość, tzn. Mamy zrobione rezerwacje, kupione bilety, umówione spotkania, etc.)
Public timetables, schedules, plans (kiedy mówimy o przyszłości zaplanowanej dla nas, a nie przez nas, opartej na rozkładach jazdy, harmonogramach i planach)
Przykłady
I’m flying to Rome next week.
Lecę do Rzymu w następnym tygodniu.

Sue is seeing her dentist tomorrow.
Sue idzie jutro do dentysty.

Bart is meeting his parents on Saturday.
Bart spotyka sie z rodzicami w sobotę.
The train departs at 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Pociąg odjeżdża o 21.00 jutro.

The film starts at 5.30 p.m.
Film zaczyna się o 17.30.

The bank opens at 9 a.m.
Bank otwierają o 9.00.

We have Biology at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
Mamy biologię jutro o 8.00.
